PresentMon data

Postby SubSonix » Sun Jan 19, 2025 6:53 am

I've finally got around to setting up my 3.5" screen and wonder if it's possible to use PresentMon data without HWiNFO running?

Specifically I'm trying to use FramerateDisplayed/FrameratePresented

Even being able to add the refresh rate would be better than nothing.

Pulling these from RTSS might be an option?

P.S. Is it possible to change the date format on the 3.5" model?

Took a quick look at it but did not see a .NET library to get the data from presentmon, it can be done with the plugin system but with a .dll library that gets the data

Following up on this again, could you please elaborate?

And is it possible to have a date that follows DD/MM/YYYY?

so, presentmon captures the data but the data stays in the app or in csv.
We need presentmon to expose something so goverlay would be able to fetch it, usually a .DLL that lets you connect to presentmon and fetch the information as it appears, i looked again and didnt see any feature to expose the data to other apps, if you find any open source app that gathers info from presentmon and is open source, we can take a look at how they do it to see if we can implement the same

I'll investigate next week (away until then) and let you know :)

I know I'm going on about the date format, but it really bothers me lol
Wasn't an issue on the 2.8" model.

whats the problem with the date? you can add a "time and date" element and choose whatever format you want

Which program is that?

Just the format, I'd like to use DD/MM/YYYY and I could only find YYYY/MM/DD in -built.

Hopefully what you've shared can help, I will look into this in a week too :)

Thank you for your replies :)
