Screen Rotation

Can you rotate the screen 180 deg?

Mine is currently upside down - relative to the expected case and stand orientation.

Thanks.

correct, so its on the left looking at the front? if thats the case, its the normal orientation.
If you want to invert it, there is no option to do it, but you can use a hacky (non supported) way to do it.
you need to open the device console from the devices list, and then run the following two commands and accept it on the unit.

Code: Select all
/shell "settings put system accelerometer_rotation 0"
/shell "settings put system user_rotation 2"

One issue you will have is that they keypad buttons will be inverted (up/down left/right) since there is no support for inverted display, but if you dont use those too often, you can have it this way

At the default orientation, the power cable is on the LEFT side when viewed from the front, in your case you may attached the stand wrongly, please turn your stand 180degree and attach it.
If you really need to have your power cable on the RIGHT side when viewed from the front, you can also do it in an easier way.
Plug in a USB mouse, then settings, advanced WIFI connection. It will open an android WIFI settings menu. click back (top left corner), then Display> Advanced> Display Rotation>
Change it to 270degree (90degree to default orientation)

Then press YES ( the button on the right side) to restart the device.
Note: the D-pad button will be inverted in this case

Cool, the stand is in the correct orientation. I may have misread the instructions which suggested that both screw holes would be visible through the slot of the stand.

All good, thanks for confirming. :)

Just by way of explanation, I had misread the instructions and fitted the stand upside down.

Some days my brain loves to mess with me. :o
