in the meanwhile, can you check that the plugins/hwinfo.dll file has a modified date as of 2024-07-21 ?

Still happened, even with the 30 seconds delay
Refreshing sensors did not work. and the sensors I was using did not appear at all in the 'Sensors View' tab.
Fixed by restarting GOverlayPlus per usual

okay, there could be an odd case on which hwinfo loads more sensors overtime and goverlay does not update them because they werent there in the original fetch.
try

Hidden Message:

which will re-update its sensors if sees a change of sensors count from hwinfo

GoverlayPlus restart fixed it as usual without touching HWinfo

This is so odd. Did it last longer this time?
Do you have the log before the restart of goverlay? i need to see if it was throwing any error when hwinfo sensors werent working. The log shared is from when goverlay re-started from what i can see.

Not sure what you mean by last longer.
I actually didn't notice until an hour later, and then I restarted it

This is the log before the restart. It's showing the messages 'HWinfo is missing the sensor *'
I just deleted the rest of the messages since they were just the usual 'Data received ok', 'keepalive', 'Sent us data'

The log provided is from the start, if you look at the timestamp, it has the first message
8/20/2024 4:58:58 PM:Load - GOverlayPlus Started
and the last message
8/20/2024 4:59:12 PM:Sensors: PLUGIN - CS2 - Starting HTTP server at - http://127.0.0.1:8087/

so its a 13 seconds log of goverlay starting.
I need the log before this restart to see when the sensor stopped being recognized and to see if the system tried to reload the sensors

make sure you have the "save the log into a file" checked on the goverlay logs tab and wait for it to happen again, when it does, send me the full log file without restarting goverlay and afterwards you can restart it
